About this book

A companion to Power Through Prayer, written on the single theme of persistence: that prayer which gets an answer is prayer that will not let go. Thirteen short chapters, published the year Bounds's literary executor began issuing his manuscripts.

About E. M. Bounds

Edward McKendree Bounds (1835-1913) practised law in Missouri before he was ordained in the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. He served as a chaplain during the American Civil War and was twice imprisoned. For the last seventeen years of his life he rose at four in the morning to pray, and wrote the series of books on prayer for which he is remembered, most of them published only after his death.

Text from Project Gutenberg #66112; in the public domain.
