The books
The texts are in the public domain. Our editions — their preparation, chapter divisions, explanations and design — are ours, and the glossary is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0 as described on the About page.
Credits
Credits are bought on ccbaudible.com (payments by Stripe) or in the app through Apple or Google, whose terms also apply to their purchases. Credits are used only to buy books in Christian Classics, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not expire while the service runs. A book bought with credits is yours to read on the website and in the app on any device you sign in to. Unspent credits bought on the website may be refunded within 14 days of purchase on request; purchases in the app are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies. If a payment is refunded or reversed, its credits are removed from your balance.
Your account
Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what is done with your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example by copying books in bulk.
The AI reading companion
Its answers are generated automatically and may be mistaken; weigh them against Scripture and sound teaching.
The service
We work to keep the service available and correct, but provide it as it is, without warranties, and are not liable for indirect losses as far as the law allows.
